Lincoln Links Minutes
April 14, 2008
Meeting was called to order at 5:15 P.M. on April 14th. Those present were Kim Winslow, Taryn Ryan, Sue McCracken, Vallerie Hudson, Melisse Jones and Molly Cassens
Melisse gave the treasure’s report, letting us know we currently have $4031.07 in our account.
Bill Elher from Red Wheel Fundraising came to the meeting to talk to us about the products they provide and share some of the food. We have decided to use Red Wheel as our fundraiser for next year. Kim Winslow will notify Red Wheel that we will go with them. Fundraising packets will be given out at the beginning of the school year, tentatively on Aug 28th.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5th- 9th. Lunch will be provided on Mon. May 5th for the teachers and staff. Melissa will provide a salad and smoked pork loin, Valerie is making a sheet cake, Kim will provide potatoes, and Molly will be providing drinks. During this week the teachers and staff will be given their annual gift from the parent group. Total amount from the parent group will be $1125. This will be broken down by giving all 8 full time teachers $100, 3 part time teachers $50, and $25 to each 7 associates.
Last day of school will be June 5th. The parent group will provide pop, water, snow cones and popcorn for the children.
Kim Winslow will schedule the sidewalk project and let us know when we need to help.
Open house for our next school year will be Aug 19th. The parent group will provide the makings for ice-cream sundaes.
Next parent meeting is scheduled for Aug. 11th at 5:15 pm, hope to see you there!!
