Welcome! Pence Elementary serves nearly 300 students in Preschool through 5th grade. Located on the southwest side of Fairfield, Pence is one of four elementary buildings serving students in the Fairfield Community School District. Pence is a double section building with programs for special education, Title I reading, Talented and Gifted, Art, PE, Music, and much more.
Pence has a quality staff comprised of veteran and new teachers. The building operates on the following beliefs:
- All students will show growth individually and compared to peers.
- Staff will incorporate the emotional/affective state of the classroom (climate into the academic day.
- Our students need positive personal attention.
- Teachers will keep an open-mind about every child’s strengths.
- Our students will be prepared for a quality adult life!
We also encourage our families to support the learning of our children!
If you have any questions or would like to visit the school, please contact me at (641) 472-2957 or by e-mail at nathan.wear@fairfieldsfuture.org and I would be glad to spend some time discussing the quality of education at Pence Elementary.
