Fourth Grade Visits Carnegie Museum
On April 25, Washington fourth grades visited the Carnegie Museum as part of their Iowa History studies. Thanks to Dot Helcamp, Frankie Schaub, Mary and Keith Shafer for conducting the tours. Students learned about the many artifacts held in the museum. This was a great opportunity for the students to learn about Fairfield's rich history, and have an opportunity to experience the historic Carnegie Building. The picture below shows a group of students examining one of the exhibits at the Carnegie Museum.
