The Arrival of the 2008-09 School Year

While the summer isn't over yet, preparations are underway for the 2008-09 school year! Custodians are busy cleaning the buildings from one end to the other, administrators are working to fill last minute openings and plan for the new year, and teachers are going to classes, working on new units for the next school year, and always trying to improve what happens in the classroom. The following information will be coming in the mail the first week of August, but for those of you anxious to get the important dates on your calendars, here you go!
District Registration: (a pre-registration packet will be mailed to all families in July)
August 4, 7:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
High School Commons
Libertyville Open House: August 18, 6 - 8 P.M.
Fees:
Book rent: $30
Meals: (funds taken from family meal account)
Breakfast: $1.00 per meal
Lunch: $1.75 per meal
Milk/juice tickets: $.30 per carton or $6.00 per 20 punch ticket
Activity tickets, Insurance, and band fees may also be taken care of during registration
ACTION Team (parent group) meeting: August 11, 7 P.M.
