Graduating Seniors
by Morgan Moss
Many seniors at FHS begin to experience many emotions as the days are counted down until school is out. As seniors race to complete last minute community service in, pass classes, and prepare for finals, they are also preparing for graduation on June 1st. They are preparing for college, making plans, and moving on with their life.
They are feeling sad, excited, and scared. Four seniors in particular are feeling strongly about their last semester. Danielle Fry, Alyse Meiners, Matt Thornton, and Levi Wood share their feelings with us as their senior year comes to an end.
Things they are going to miss, memories and lessons learned, experiences at FHS, and fears about the future and college are just a few of the things racing through seniors’ heads. Fry, Meiners, Thornton, and Wood share their thoughts as the senior year comes to an end.
As the summer begins, the seniors say goodbye to friends, and hello to a higher education and also a set of new friends. The class of 2008 is anxiously waiting as the countdown for the final week of school begins. Last minute chores are being done and college plans are finalized. Fears about college are no longer just fears. They are becoming a quick reality in the face of many seniors.
