Fairfield Combo Choir Performs at Vocal Festival

Forty-eight choir students from FHS participated in the Conference Vocal Festival on Tuesday, October 27th at Indian Hills Hellyer Center in Ottumwa. Approximately 200 students from Ottumwa, Ft. Madison, Washington, Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant and Keokuk rehearsed and performed Gabriel Faure’s Requiem under the baton of Dr. David Puderbaugh, professor of music at University of Iowa.

In addition, each school performed an individual song. The students had a good day of singing a major choral work together with an orchestra accompanying them. Click on the link below to hear both Fairfield and the Mass Choir singing.
