Washington Parent/Teacher Group
The “Parent / Teacher Group” at Washington School provides tremendous support to our staff and students. The group meets informally weekly on Tuesday mornings. They conduct any necessary business at that time and perform various tasks that teachers request of them. Our parent group contributes to our school in various ways, including organizing our annual major fundraiser, and teaming with our faculty to prioritize purchases for the year.
In addition to these tasks, several of our parent group members volunteer in the classrooms, read with children, assist with field trips, etc. Our parent group is extremely supportive and cooperative with the school staff.
