Mental Health Week continues at FMS Friday.
With guidance from community volunteer, Barbara Stone, principal, Mrs. Marten, and advisors, Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Brown, Builders Club members planted at the Fairfield Community Garden. They will continue to care for their plot throughout the summer.
According to Better Brain Nation Magazine, “Growing a plant involves various cognitive activities, such as planning, problem-solving, and learning about plant care” (5).

Congratulations Eli Zillman on winning the 3A State Title in the High Jump. Eli cleared 6-9 which also set the school record and currently the highest jump in the state and #49 in the country. Teammate Ryan Giberson finished 7th in the same event.

Fairfield Summer Food Program Information
LOCATION CHANGE: Due field conditions on our baseball field, tonight's JV/V baseball games vs Oskaloosa have been changed to an AWAY contest. Games will be played at Oskaloosa High School on their turf field. Go Trojans! #OneFairfield
Little Trojan Baseball Camp: June 3-7th.
Keep an eye out for paperwork to be shared via Little League and travel teams.
POSTPONED: Due to the chance of rain and distance of travel for Grinnell, today's (May 13) Home JV/V Baseball games have been POSTPONED to Thursday, May 16.
FMS GOAL Families,
We are sad to share that the venue for tomorrow's field trip called to cancel due to the weather forecast for tomorrow. We will plan to see GOAL students at school for a normal day.
