Our Newscast team is at it again. This past week they created a radio broadcast at a local radio station that advertises our upcoming Leader in Me Community day event this Wednesday and Thursday at FMS. We are super proud of their work and are excited students get to experience these career opportunities!
Pence Staff Shout-out for our Pence 2nd grade team!
Our 2nd grade team, along with many staff & family volunteers just pulled off an amazing field trip for our entire 2nd grade! Our 2nd grade team worked closely with Timberdoodle to pull off our first Day into Night INDOOR field trip, with the feel of an outdoor vibe! Many worked late into Friday night to put Pence back to its original state and ensure that each of our students had a fantastic time. Thank you ladies for going above and beyond! Our students thoroughly enjoyed their Day into Night Field Trip at Pence!

For the very first time, EVERY FMS project for National History Day advances to the state competition. WOW! What a great showing at districts! Today, seven FMS choir students proudly represented our school at Iowa Wesleyan University for the SEICDA 5-8th grade honor choir. They practiced several pieces all day with two guest directors, then performed at a concert in the evening to a packed house. Congratulations and great work, Trojans!
