Meet Kim Winslow
Pence Elementary Office Secretary

Kim is the heart of Pence. She greets everyone with a smile and ensures everyone gets the attention they deserve. On any given day, she can be the secretary, nurse, janitor, principal, or someone's mom. She has a heart of gold, and we are fortunate to have her at Pence. .         

 Kim Winslow has worked as an elementary office secretary in Fairfield Community School District for the past 20 years. She could write a book about working with students through this position or volunteering through the Elks with Shop with A Hero Day. Her passion for helping children runs deep. When asked what brings her joy, it is family. Kim and her husband, Steve, have been married for 32 years. They have three grown children that have all graduated college. Many of you know Brittany Metcalf, a Pence teacher in our district. Brittany has a son, Noah, which brings great joy to Kim.  

Erica Winslow is a pediatric cardiovascular ultrasound technologist at the U of I children's hospital. Austin Winslow works for John Deer in the logistics department looking at parts from Korea. Her dad, Dick Reed, was one of the first mechanics for Top Gun after being laid off from the service.  Mrs. Jones stated, “Kim is the best, and we would be up a creek without her!”
