Meet Misty Haydt
Fairfield Middle School Associate

Misty Haydt grew up in Fairfield and walked the halls as the students do now!  Misty stated, “Those halls aren't that big when you're a grown-up.” She has been working in our district for almost two years. She married a military man named Walt. They will be married 30 years in May. Misty and Walt have two daughters, Corissa and Whitney. They have four biological grandchildren LilyAna, who is 12 years old; Kayden, 8; Stella Grace, seven and Xena, who is 4. Misty also has a couple of hundred grandchildren at school.  She goes by many different titles, but Grandma Misty is her favorite.

At the beginning of school 21-22,, the students thought Misty’s glasses looked like Roz from Monsters Inc., So Misty decided to dress up as Roz for a school dance. During picture day, she dressed up as a grandma. 

Outside of school, you can catch Misty spending time with her grandchildren, playing with her cat Pearl Ann or reading a  good book.

A student sent in the shout-out for Misty. Here is what the student said, “Misty is the best associate. When you are down, she can cheer you up. Misty loves working with her student. She loves to help out in any way. Misty makes everyone laugh and smile”.
