The Iowa Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators has created a Webinar about how to avoid common mistakes on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). One thing that everyone needs to remember is that FAFSA is FREE to fill out. If you are at a website that requests money to fill the form out, you are not at the correct site. Here is a link to the correct site: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa If needed, you can always get help from Iowa College Access Network (ICAN). You may call them toll-free at 877-272-4692. Also, know that the Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) Educational Opportunity Center can help you start & complete your financial aid application.
